Leap Frog Bunnies

Although there is a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning and the temperatures are in the 20’s, I wanted to show you what brightened up my day as I came down the stairs.

This pretty spring bouquet was given to me by a thoughtful neighbor who thought we would enjoy it while Mr. S is recuperating. He likes fresh flowers and thought the hydrangeas in this arrangement were particularly pretty.

Do you see  who is playing a game of leap frog in this bouquet?

Why, it’s those little bunnies on a stick that were so popular in blogland last spring!

I’m hoping that these flowers will stay fresh until Mr. S gets home from the hospital, but I’m glad that he was able to see them before he went in. We are still waiting to hear what his doctors are planning as a course of action to prevent the problem he encountered after his surgery last week. Three operations within the course of 10 weeks is not something he had anticipated. He had been feeling so well and was enjoying walks through the neighborhood on his crutches. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts.

Lots of hugs,

Hi Sue,

Sounds like Murph is really having a time of it! I am so sorry to hear that he is still struggling with his health. I hope he is feeling better soon.

I will be thinking of you both.

Wow you and hubby have been through so much! You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love the bunnies. Just adds that little extra.
When things settle down I will take you up on helping me with blogging. I love the way it downloads the pictures but once I have them downloaded I have a mess and it won't let me type where I want it!

Oh Sue, I feel so bad for him. I know I myself went through two surgeries in less that one month for cancer and it's so tough to recuperate. I can't imagine having to go through three. I'll keep you both in my prayers and bless you neighbor for being so sweet and thoughtful. The flowers are beautiful.
