Take Me Home…

It’s Outdoor Wednesday at Susan’s,  A Southern Dreamer, and I’d like to show you some of the scenery that we saw on our way home from the High Point, NC furniture market last week.

I always enjoy driving through the rolling hills and mountains of Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia during the fall. The air is so crisp and clean, and the trees show off some of their best and vibrant colors.  Mother Nature is truly wondrous in her creations.

Hi Sue....I just love the drive through that area too! We drove to Charlottesville, Va about 5 years ago and that area is equally spectacular whether it is fall or not. I am afraid these beautiful colors in Ohio will not be here for much longer....sigh.~Hugs, Patti

It looks like it is still nice out there. A warm jacket and a pair of ear muffs and away you go. Oh that a snow flake?

Beautiful pictures Sue! The furthest East I've ever been is Ohio. One of these days we definitely want to explore the East coast!
Have a good day!

When I read your title I thought you were talking about taking home your new couch!

But you were talking about John Denver's song?
The one my classmate in Ohio sang backup for..
She then went one to make the song, Afternoon Delight..a one hit wonder..
Another useless bit of info, I know..LOL
Lovely pictures, Sue!

Hi, Sue! I live in No. Va, and I just love traveling west toward the mountains. The view is always so nice, and brings a smile to my face. And, yes, the trees are beginning to be beautiful here. Just today I was out running errands, and the colors were so vibrant!

Wow what gorgeous scenery! Good thing you brought your camera!

Thanks for coming by to visit, and for asking about my Mom and Sister. They are both doing okay. My sister just finished her 4th round of chemo, but then she decided to have a mammogram, and they found some asymetrical calcification clusters on one breast and now she is going to need a biopsy...can you believe it? I SOOO hope it doesn't turn out to be cancerous...

Take care,
hugs, Sherri:)
